How I discovered the archaeologist within.

Welcome to LISA ROBERTS FOOD! I am excited to share with you my approach to eating as a way of life that nurtures the connection between heart-centered living and your microbiome through recipes, practices, and rituals. This philosophy stems my expertise in culinary archaeology and nutrition, and helps you take simple, delicious and attainable steps - rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by current research - towards whole health.

In my own journey of healing - from anxiety, depression, autoimmune conditions, and addiction - I discovered that when your body, the vessel that holds your spirit, is nourished and taken care of, you can then show up for all the people and things you love. It’s the window of entry to wholeness, a place that feels safe. 

On the other hand, low energy, brain fog, aches and pains, skin and digestive issues, depression and anxiety, and hormonal changes, not to mention serious chronic health conditions, are signals that things are off kilter and need attention.
